BIKiNNOV made its mark at S4i in Madrid with innovative technologies for bicycle mobility
BIKiNNOV took part in the S4i – Science for Industry event, held on January 28 and 29 in Madrid, at La Nave, one of the city’s main innovation and entrepreneurship hubs.
During the event, BIKiNNOV presented several technologies currently under development, focusing on innovation applied to bicycle mobility, structural performance, and material sustainability. Among the highlighted prototypes was an aluminum crank, developed to achieve high levels of performance and durability while maintaining low weight and greater structural efficiency, positioning itself as a more sustainable alternative to traditional solutions.
A bicycle frame structure was also presented, developed using an aluminum alloy different from those typically used in conventional frame production. This solution stands out for not requiring heat treatment, enabling a more efficient and sustainable manufacturing process without compromising the mechanical properties of the assembly.
Participation in S4i represented an important opportunity for BIKiNNOV to share its work with the international community, foster dialogue with partners, and reinforce its commitment to developing innovative and sustainable solutions for the mobility sector.
