BIKiNNOV participates in the 1st in-person meeting of the “Cycles” and “Batteries” Working Groups

BIKiNNOV took part in the first in-person meeting of the “Cycles” and “Batteries” Working Groups, promoted by Cycling Industries Europe, the organization representing the European bicycle industry and advocating for the sector’s interests before European institutions.

BIKiNNOV was represented by César Coutinho, Chief Technology Officer of BIKiNNOV.

These working groups bring together experts, industry representatives, and other relevant stakeholders with the aim of monitoring technical and regulatory developments, promoting knowledge sharing, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions within the cycling mobility sector, including areas related to components, systems, and associated technologies.

BIKiNNOV’s participation enabled close monitoring of the sector’s main challenges and trends, as well as insight into initiatives and approaches adopted by various European entities. This involvement also represents an opportunity to strengthen dialogue with international partners and actively contribute to the development of a more innovative, sustainable, and competitive ecosystem.

Participation in these working groups further reinforces BIKiNNOV’s positioning within the European context, promoting integration into international networks and access to strategic knowledge relevant to the sector’s development.

This initiative falls under Action Line 5 – 008ANI Promotion and Networks, within the Interface Mission – Base Funding for Technology and Innovation Centers, of the Recovery and Resilience Program (RRP), funded by the European Funds of NextGenerationEU.
