BIKiNNOV Strengthens International Positioning at Materials Week Europe 2026

Materials Week Europe 2026 took place from February 24 to 26 at the RAI Amsterdam in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, bringing together experts, companies, and leading research centers in the field of advanced materials. The event incorporated five international exhibitions dedicated to technological innovation and the development of high-performance solutions for multiple industrial sectors: Silicone Expo Europe, Gasket & Seals Show, Magnetics Show Europe, Speciality Polymers World, and the High Entropy Alloy Expo, offering an integrated overview of the latest trends and technological advances in the materials sector.

BIKiNNOV’s presence at this international event reinforced its strategy of technological scouting and its positioning as a reference technological partner in the identification, characterization, and validation of advanced materials for the two-wheel industry. The participation made it possible to closely monitor emerging solutions in areas such as technical and specialty polymers, high-performance elastomers and silicones, advanced magnetic materials, innovative metallic alloys, and sealing systems for demanding applications, with potential direct impact on the development of lighter, stronger, more durable, and more sustainable components.

Over the three days, BIKiNNOV carried out an intense programme of technological scouting and strategic networking, establishing contacts with technology companies, raw material manufacturers, research centers, and other stakeholders from the European and international innovation ecosystem. These meetings aim to foster future collaborations in research and development projects, technology transfer, and the co-creation of solutions aligned with the challenges of the ecological and digital transitions, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of the two-wheel industry.

This initiative falls within Action Line 2 – 005ANI Materials Foresight, under the Interface Mission – Base Funding for Technology and Innovation Centers, part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), funded by NextGenerationEU European Funds.
