BIKiNNOV hosts leading national and international companies for the development of innovative and sustainable (eco) materials

On April 21, BIKiNNOV welcomed the visit of Biesterfeld and Lehmann & Voss & Co., leading companies in the development of innovative and eco-friendly materials. The event, held at BIKiNNOV’s facilities in Águeda, aimed to showcase the materials and services offered by Lehmann & Voss & Co. and to strengthen relationships for potential collaborations.

In the first part of the event, company representatives met and a presentation was given by Lehmann & Voss & Co. on the materials in their portfolio. The importance of developing innovative materials to meet the growing needs and requirements of consumers was emphasized, along with the increasing interest in more sustainable materials within the two-wheel industry. In the second part of the presentation, materials potentially useful for the bicycle sector were highlighted, and the possibility of sharing samples was introduced, with the aim of evaluating their potential for the development of new products.

The final part of the event was dedicated to presenting BIKINNOV’s facilities, positioning it as a reference center for innovation and technical and technological support in the two-wheel sector. During a guided tour, participants had the opportunity to explore the new equipment in operation and the existing capabilities. These advanced resources place BIKINNOV at the forefront of research and development, strengthening its ability to collaborate with visiting companies across all stages of the product development cycle, from concept to design.

This meeting focused on the exchange of knowledge in the field of materials innovation and symbolizes a shared commitment to promoting innovation and sustainability in the two-wheel sector, contributing to a greener future.
