BIKiNNOV organizes the event “Industry on the Move: Innovating to Compete”, presenting itself as a strategic partner for the industry.
On February 19, 2025, BIKiNNOV – Bike Value Innovation Center – Association welcomed several companies and industry representatives to the event “Industry on the Move: Innovating to Compete”, which took place at its facilities in Águeda, as part of its strategy for adopting R&D processes.
The aim of the initiative was to present BIKiNNOV as a strategic partner for the industrial sector, demonstrating the capabilities of the Technology and Innovation Centre in technological training, process optimization and the development of innovative solutions.
Gil Nadais, Executive Director, said: “At BIKiNNOV, we believe that innovation is the engine of competitiveness. That’s why we challenge the two-wheeler industry to explore new opportunities with us, making the transition from OEM to ODM with the support of our technology and knowledge. We want to be the strategic partner that drives this evolution, and to this end we are launching two types of campaigns: one focused on the adoption of R&D processes and the other on the implementation of eco-efficient solutions.” He added: “Together, we can shape the future of industry, making it more innovative and sustainable.”
The event included an institutional presentation highlighting the capacities already installed at BIKiNNOV, as well as the new infrastructures and equipment that will be at the service of companies by the end of 2025. This was followed by a guided tour, giving participants direct contact with the resources available to boost innovation and competitiveness in the industry.
The event is part of Action Line 5 – Promotion and Networking of the Interface Mission – Core Funding for Technology and Innovation Centers, within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Program (PRR), financed by the NextGenerationEU European Funds, reinforcing BIKiNNOV’s commitment to supporting the industrial sector through technology and expertise.
